The Universe Is In Us

One of the most beautiful and moving videos I’ve come across in my life. Loneliness is a negative energy that is unnecessary, but of course we are but human and this emotion is unstoppable from seeping in our mind from time to time. I’d like to compare worrying with loneliness. It’s like trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing gum. (Thank you sunscreen song! look it up in you tube, very wise words.)

We never have to be lonely. Just imagine. The vastness of this universe is in us. We are one with the beauty of everything the universe has to offer. Alone at night? Looking up at the stars will make you feel like someone is out there looking up with you in this world, or maybe together with a different kind of species from another planet because I do believe that aliens exist. heheh It’s overwhelming to know how billions of individuals in this world contain such greatness inside them. A unique fingerprint, unparalleled experiences that only one being can ever have, each of us are designed differently and no one is ever the same. Never mind what Tyler Durden said in fight club: “Listen up, maggots. You are not special. You are not a beautiful or unique snowflake. You’re the same decaying organic matter as everything else.” Bullshit.

“The universe is in us, when I reflect on that fact, I look up… Many people feel small because the universe is big. But I feel big because my atoms came from those stars. There’s a level of connectivity. That’s really what we want in life. We wanna feel connected, we wanna feel relevant. You wanna feel like a participant on the goings on of activities and events around you. That’s precisely what we are, just by being alive”. – Neil deGrasse Tyson
